A brave group of Haygarthians, affectionately known as The Village People, donned their Lycra and fetching Haygarth racing jerseys to take on the epic London to Brighton Cycle Ride.
Raising money for the British Heart Foundation the team exceeded their target raising £1300 with, team mates, Jen Allen and Katie Lewis taking first spot at a time of just four hours and 30 minutes.
A special mention goes to Tom Cooper-Smith who, due to a turn of unfortunate events, had only one gear on his bike yet powered through to join the rest of the guys on Brighton Beach for a well-deserved pint and Fish & Chip supper.
Haygarth is really proud of the team and all of Haygarth for continuing to raise money for charity.
