The Village
If you get here early or want to hang around after your meeting, we’ve put together a list of places to go whilst you’re in Wimbledon Village.
A tipple or a bite to eat
Tall double skinny extra hot soya hazelnut Macchiato? There’s a Starbucks in the middle of the village on the right hand side as you’re walking up from the station towards Haygarth.
Or for something a bit different, St Cassien on the corner of Church Road and the high street does fantastic coffees. It also boasts a selection of Middle Eastern inspired food if you’re feeling peckish.
Our favourite pub, or more accurately, the one we spend the most time (and money) in, is the Dog and Fox. It’s the biggest pub in the village, so you won’t miss it. But if you do, it’s on the corner of the road as the high street bears round to the left at the mini roundabout, opposite St Cassien.
There are also all the usual suspects to grab a bite to eat, including Pizza Express, Strada and Giraffe.
Retail therapy
Hmm, shopping! Lots of lovely clothes and shoe shops grace the pavements of Wimbledon Village.
So, after your super-successful-leave-on-a-high-want-to-celebrate-by-burning-some-cash-meeting, come out of Haygarth Place and turn left for the delights of Matches, which serves up designer fashion in two separate boutiques, one for him and one for her.
Then keep heading towards the common and you’ll find Space NK with shelves and shelves of beauty delights. Alternatively, head back towards the village and you’ll come across Whistles, Reiss, LK Bennett, Jigsaw and Question Air.
