This summer we transformed small screen content into an epic Vodafone first with our #VodafonePocketCinema. This blockbusting experience paired the network's Red Entertainment Plan with the must-have smartphone, and showcased them in a way shoppers had never seen before - creating a massive screen, made from 105 devices, set in an inviting outdoor setting.

Our indoor-outdoor cinema

We know nothing beats watching your favourite film or TV show on a big screen, but when the great outdoors is calling people have to make a choice, right? Wrong!

We merged great content with the great outdoors to attract tech-curious shoppers in the Birmingham Bullring to step up and sit down while we showed them all the great films and TV available on their smartphones - quite literally a cinema in their pocket.

From cinema to store

Shoppers loved getting comfy in our giant deck chairs, sharing selfies for the chance to win epic prizes, and watching teaser Amazon Prime content.

But we all know you can't enjoy the cinema without snacks. So if the offer wasn't tempting enough, we sealed the deal with the promise of free popcorn in our nearby Vodafone store.
