Ueshima Coffee Company - UK Launch
Following a competitive pitch win, we’re proud to launch Ueshima Coffee Company, (Japan's #1 coffee brand) into the UK market.
In partnership with Adam&EveDDB, we’ve created an overarching creative platform “Respect the Ritual”. Our campaign aims to drive sales through their bespoke direct-to-consumer website by delivering an integrated marketing plan that focusses heavily on social media, PR, influencer outreach and e-commerce.
In order to bring “Respect the Ritual” and Ueshima to life, we created an art direction style which focuses on the stylish simplicity of Japanese culture. Bespoke static and video assets for Instagram, Facebook and PR were created through a lifestyle photoshoot. The content aims to introduce the practice of ‘Takumi’; the pursuit of perfection without compromise, to a wider audience. It includes videos of relatable coffee rituals such as enjoying a coffee with a good book and enjoying a moment of pause whilst working from home.
The campaign officially launched on 26th January with paid social advertising running across Instagram and Facebook, along with a brand Instagram account and PR and influencer outreach to key trade and consumer media.
The launch phase will run for the first 6 weeks and the campaign will then be ongoing and expanding for the remainder of 2021.
