The Return of #MerryGIFmas

It was a merry weekend indeed at Merry Hill Shopping Centre, where our #MerryGIFmas experiential campaign made its second stop on its Christmas tour of the UK. Following the incredible heart-warming and award-winning success of last year’s campaign, this year we worked together with Vodafone to bring an even better shopping experience for customers on the hunt for tech gifts.

#MerryGIFmas aims to enable modern love stories. Given that love in the technology age is visual and vibrant, and articulated and shared in expressive and dynamic ways, we wanted to give shoppers a way to capture that love. And so we did, by creating a unique and memorable message platform that’s easy to share with loved ones at Christmas. Shoppers who step onto the stand are given a gift tag with a bespoke QR code inside, that links their personalised video message to their Vodafone tech gifts. They’re also gifted a 20% discount off Vodafone’s accessories, to use in store that day. #MerryGIFmas has this year focused on showcasing Vodafone’s range of exciting accessories, including everything from headphones to powerbanks to phone socks to wireless chargers.

The campaign has received glowing feedback already, with highlights including a real life, on-site marriage proposal...don't worry, she said yes! We’re thrilled #MerryGIFmas is helping shoppers nationwide to share the love this season.
