
Entertainment to the Extreme
To communicate the great entertainment features of Sony Xperia ZX2, we had to take entertainment to the extreme – creating an immersive brand experience that touched all the senses.
The Challenge
With the smartphone market a more crowded and competitive environment than ever before, Sony needed to generate large-scale excitement around the launch of their new Xperia XZ2 handset. Given the new handset’s interactive and impressive features, we created something that allowed countless shoppers to engage with the product.
The Insight
Being told about high-end specs and great entertainment features isn’t enough. To truly understand the power and why the Xperia XZ2 is the ultimate entertainment handset, you have to experience it.
The Idea
We took entertainment to the extreme and divided the Xperia XZ2’s features by passion point: SEE, HEAR and PLAY. Creating individual immersion pods, we gave passers-by in some of the UK’s busiest shopping centres, an unforgettable, hands-on experience that brought each of the high-end entertainment features to life.
